Actor-Dancer-Singer

Alex Hatcher is a Wisconsin-born actor, dancer, singer, fitness enthusiast, food lover, and a proud graduate of Boston University with a BFA in Acting, and concentrations in Dance and Musical Theater. After living and working in Boston, Milwaukee and Chicago, he is very excited to now be pursuing his MFA in Acting at Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training in Sarasota, Florida (class of 2026).
Alex has performed both on stage and on screen. His training includes classical acting (Shakespeare), musical theater, dance, physical theater, stage combat, on-camera acting, and improv comedy. He is also available for voice-over acting and other projects.
This fall, I'm going back to school as an MFA student at the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training in Sarasota, FL, a 3-year graduate program culminating in a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree. Twelve students are chosen each year to work in this program that combines rigorous classroom training with guest artist workshops and professional production experience.
The program was initiated by the Florida State University School of Theatre in Tallahassee in 1968 and moved to Sarasota five years later to establish a permanent relationship with the Asolo Repertory Theatre.
